We will be running in convoy run to Chidlow, finishing at Lake Leschenaultia for a picnic.
The Lake is well-known for its canoeing, swimming, cycling and barbeque facilities. It is the perfect spot for a family outing with cool shaded areas, lawns, white sand beaches and playground equipment. Canoes and stand up paddle boards are available for hire. The SAAB Car Club has reserved a large shelter for your comfort.
The Flackseed Cafe & Kiosk has recently opened at Lake Leschenaultia, serving coffee and light refreshements if you'd rather not bring your own.
Please note that dogs and other pets are prohibited at the lake.
The lake is closed to the public on extreme and catastrophic fire danger days. In that case we'll take a short drive to Garvey Park in Ascot.
